VerseOne Group's fund to give back to the community

At VerseOne, we’ve always believed in making a real difference to the lives of people who rely on the NHS and social housing sector. Since our founding over 20 years ago, our goal has been to empower our customers with transformative digital solutions, enabling them to deliver exceptional services to millions of people across the UK.

To take our commitment a step further, we’re excited to showcase our Communities and Charities Fund. This initiative is designed to give back directly to the communities supported by our customers, providing funding for local community projects and charitable causes.

The Communities and Charities Fund is different from our Innovation Fund. While the Innovation Fund focuses on investing in early-stage businesses with innovative ideas, the Communities and Charities Fund provides direct financial support to existing community support and charitable initiatives. This fund is not about making investments but about making a tangible, positive impact on people's lives through community-driven projects.

Alan Neilson, VerseOne’s Founder and Executive Chairman, shares his vision for the fund:

For some time now, and certainly since launching the Innovation Fund, we’ve also been thinking about making a direct difference to good causes and community projects within the NHS and Social Housing sectors—by setting up a Communities and Charities Fund that would make direct contributions towards these.

Making waves across communities

The Communities and Charities Fund is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any qualifying application must be made on behalf of a community project and supported by a Social Housing or NHS organisation. This ensures that the projects we fund have a direct and meaningful impact on the communities they serve.

As the fund gains momentum, we’re proud to see Centre 56 - a domestic abuse nursery supporting families in crisis - as one of the first recipients of the Communities and Charities Fund. Nominated by the Regenda Group, Centre 56 provides a safe haven and essential support for families experiencing domestic abuse.

Our values and commitment

At VerseOne, our values of innovation, social responsibility, and community support are at the core of everything we do. The Communities and Charities Fund reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the organisations that do so much for their residents and patients. We are proud to share this initiative and look forward to seeing the positive changes it will bring to communities across the UK.
