Win Story: VerseOne Partners with Moat Homes to redesign their digital presence

We're excited to announce that Moat Homes Housing Association (Moat) has joined the VerseOne family as a valued Social Housing customer. Moat are a not-for-profit housing association providing secure, affordable homes to over 22,000 families across Kent, Essex, Sussex and London. Since 1966, Moat has built a strong legacy of delivering high-quality housing and reinvesting into the communities they serve.

Our work with Moat will see us provide digital consultancy that will enable them to redesign their corporate website and customer self-service portal, creating a modern, accessible and user-centred experience for their customers. The new design will feature a component-rich interface with improved signposting, intuitive information hierarchy, and a robust information architecture - empowering customers to find the right information, in the right place, and consume it in a way they understand. This redesign project will also contribute to Moat's wider strategy around driving digital engagement across their customer base and providing an enhanced customer experience (CX) no matter how their customers choose to engage with them.

Our Creative UX (CrUX) team will run a series of indepth workshops to understand user needs and advise on an engaging and effective information architecture that will drive engagement. They'll also lead the design process, developing interactive wireframes in greyscale to map out user journeys and ensure that the customer remains at the heart of every decision. Moat's team will collaborate closely with our designers through in-person workshops and online feedback tools, allowing for rapid iterations and adjustments throughout the project.

Once the wireframes are approved, we will move on to crafting a high-fidelity design system with reusable components tailored for both website and portal pages across desktop and mobile. All assets will be signed off before being handed over to Moat's implementation team to bring the new front end to life.

In parallel with the design phase, our team will also develop a bespoke motion graphic to help Moat showcase the benefits of the new portal and encourage customer adoption ahead of go-live.
